I heard the other day that over 85% of businesses that say they need AI really only need an automation solution and reflecting upon what I have seen in businesses, I think that statistic is pretty close to accurate. The automation of inefficient processes isn’t really implementing AI – although some automation platforms do infuse AI into their automation pathways. People will be fearful that it may take their jobs and while in many cases it will perform much of the work they are doing today, the world needs people who know how to use AI tools with the background that they likely bring to the table and thus rather than displace them, it may cause them to grow in their careers.
